Instagram meals from April

Sorry I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus with the blog posts. Like many working individuals I’ve been busy with exciting new product launches that have occupied my time away from blog posts. I promise you next week to deliver some really great recipes I’ve put together but just haven’t posted yet. Last month I had some really great meals that I didn’t share on my blog but I did post on Instagram.

Instagram is a free photo sharing app that allows it’s users to share their beautiful photos through a social network. What really makes Instagram so unique is that it has these really cool filters that can make an average picture look amazing!

Last month Instagram was acquired by facebook for, wait for it……$1 BILLION DOLLARS! Instagram also hit 30 Million users and over 200 Million photos uploaded. That’s a lot of food porn out there.

The reason I love Instagram so much is that it allows me to share recipes with other users by using the hashtag option. You can follow me on Instagram by my username christiangolez. For most of my meals you’ll see the following #paleo #healthyeating #fitness #healthy. It’s such a great feature to use the hashtag when tagging a photo because it allows you to connect to other people around the world who share your interests.

Here’s a list of some of my favorite Instagram meals from last month. Warning, the photos below have been drastically altered to increase your appetite and encourage you to eat healthier, viewer discretion is advised.

The meal below was from the hot plate section at the loblaws grocery store in Toronto. Beef ribs with Brussels sprouts dressed with olive oil and lemon and served with this delicious sweet potato pancake.

This is my go to get lean meal, chicken skewers cooked with broccoli sweet potato and marinated with chili salt.

This was my last cheat meal, the burger stomper slider secret menu option burger. Not paleo and not healthy but very delicious! Each slider is dressed with onion rings, ketchup, cheddar cheese, and a pickle.  Be sure to check out the burger stomper gourmet burger and milkshake bar @burgerstomperbr on twitter!

  1. Hey, I really like your blog! It’s one of the best I’ve seen in regards to all around nutrition. I’m looking to go paleo myself, don’t be surprised if I’m asking for pointers here and there! I think that diet lifestyle could help kick start my Warrior Trail Runner crusade up here in Maine!

    Thanks again,
    David
